My collections go beyond the typical ‘sit, adjust, & smile’ that you often see so many photographers offering. I want to know your story, your pet’s names, your children’s favorite colors, who has the stinkiest feet, and all of those things that make your family, yours. I absolutely know as a mom that you also want a few images of everyone looking forward and smiling. There is no one vs the other in my collections, I always work on a mix of both portraits and authentic moments. Many of my authentic moments are captured in video format, those giggles are pure gold when your snuggly tot turns into a teen overnight.

I get asked this every session! Digital images are available before prints & albums and generally ready for download within 2 weeks of your Review Consult date.
How long will it take to get our pictures back?
Each family has a unique story to tell, and I like to incorporate that with the location choice. Some families are hipster, sneaker wearing, coffee (or hot chocolate) drinking downtown folks; others are hiking, nature loving adventurists… or something in between. I shoot at so many wonderful locations and can’t wait to hear what speaks to you.
What’s the best location for our session?
I will absolutely come to you, near or far. I love “front door” sessions that capture beautiful homes as well as trekking around the country on new adventures. I have a small travel fee that I’m happy to waive if I can book 3+ sessions while I’m traveling.
Will you come to me?
Every single one of my sessions includes a current style guide full of ideas for clothing, colors for the season, and tips to stay calm on portrait day! I never let my clients feel lost in the clothing department when shopping for their family session.
